Main Idea: By God's grace we are rescued from our sinful condition, redeemed in Christ, and recreated for His glory. 1. Before grace, we are miserably lost. (v.1-3) - We are dead. - We are deceived. - We are depraved. 2. By grace, we are mercifully saved. (v.4-7) - God displays his love through Christ. - God unites our life to Christ. 3. Beneath grace, we are miraculously changed. (v. 8-10) - Apart from Christ, good works are futile. - By faith in Christ, good works are fruitful.
